Synopsis For Massachusetts And Rhode Island Coastal Waters
Forecast as of 4:05 am EST on February 9, 2010 - A ridge of high pressure will crest across the waters this afternoon. Low pressure will intensify rapidly to a storm center off the mid Atlc coast Wed as it tracks south and east of the waters late Wed and Wed night. The storm will be well se of Nova Scotia by Thu then move northward to near Newfoundland by Sat...still bringing gusty northwest winds to the waters Sat. Mariners should consider seeking safe Harbor by Wed morning...well before the rapidly changing wind and weather.
